Students aged 16-18 can, if they choose, move from GCSE study straight into an Apprenticeship.

An Apprenticeship is a nationally-recognised training scheme for people aged 16 or over who would like to gain work-based qualifications.

If you prefer a more hands-on approach to learning and you are already working, an Apprenticeship might be a good option. It’s a great way to combine qualifications with gaining practical skills in the workplace to help you up the career ladder – you can earn while you learn.

Visit our Apprenticeships section for more information about how to find one.
